Just off the main road in Verona is an archway that you have to walk through to get to Juliets Balcony.
As you walk through this archway you come into a tunnel type of room filled with letters professing love! I think people orginally wrote on the wall itself, but once that was filled up people just started to stick pieces of paper or notes onto the wall. People are creative too!!! Some notes are stuck to the wall using gum!
This is the pillar on the outside of the arch.
Here are the iron gates that close the area down at night.
More of the letter wall. These letters are on both sides!!! It was really impressive to see. As you can tell people haven't wasted any space in this area at all!
