Kayla's 3rd Birthday Party

Kayla's 3rd birthday party was SO exciting!  It was her first birthday party that was able to be near her birthday time.  The first two years, we had to delay/cancel due to Covid.

Kayla was very aware that it was her birthday and was very excited about it.  She very much wanted her birthday party theme to be frozen.

Aunt Karen, me, mom, and Kayla.

Nana and Kayla

Birthday girl!  She loved that these were hung up around the house.

Party details.  I worked very hard on planning on these details to have a fun party for her.

Drinks for the kids and party favors.  I thought that the reusable cups would make good party favors.  Kayla loves these cups.

More drink detals.

Our frozen themed food.  Blue jello which was Kritoff's ice blocks.  Kayla absolutely loved the jello.  The other side were frozen yogurts and cheese sticks.

Reindeer Chow and Sven's Antlers.

Close up of her Frozen Birthday cake from BJ's.

I made these little "Do you want to make a snowman" kits for the kids as an activity during the party.

Some decorations.  I put up balloons and some hanging bannners.

Getting excited for the party.

Papa!

Gigi!  This is my favorite picture of the 3 of us.  I might have to do something with this for Mother's Day for my mom.

All the kids doing the making a snowman craft.

Working hard!

Another angle.

Kayla and I building our snowman.  Sam was so nice to take my phone and take pictures all day for me.

Grayson and Justine.

Suzy, Charolette, and Shawn.

Lucy building her snowman.

Abby!

Kayla's friend from daycare, Sarah.

Kayla did not get the assignment.  She much rather eat all her components then actually build the snowman haha.

Little stinker!

Pin the nose on the Olaf.

All the kids did great!

Final Results.

Now it's Pinata time.  You're supposed to be able to pull a string one by one and the contents should fall out.

Close up...

But all the strings came off after the first pull and then nothing came out... so Justine and I had to shake and bang on the pinata to get stuff to fall out.

It still worked good though!  All the kids got their baggies and filled up with all the goodies inside.  Kayla still plays with the frozen necklace she got.

Time to sing Happy Birthday!  Kayla was SO happy and excited for it.

Look at that happy girl getting her piece of cake.

Yummy cake eating!!

Suzie and Lucy enjoying their cake.

Maia!

Abby!

Here is Steph and CJ.

Hannah let me borrow her bounce house and the kids had a blast with it.  Our basement was a very popular play area.  We also converted Kayla's room into having a big girl bed and her Barbie House so she wanted to show off her room to all of her friends.

Bounce house fun!

Present time!  Here's Sam, Hannah, and Maia.

We had such a fun party.  The kids had a great time.  We had a few activities for them, and then they had a great time with the slides/bounce house downstairs.  It made for a great day and Kayla was super happy with her party.  Two months later she still talks about her party and talks about who she is going to invite.  I really like that we stuck to a mostly kids party, but with a few other people.  It was a nice size group for our house.  The party went better at our house then I expected.
