2022 in Review

 


We went to our first Disney on Ice show with Aunt Hannah, Uncle Kyle, and Maia.


Kayla turned  2 years old.  Due to Covid, we had to cancel having a birthday party for her again this year.


We went to our first Medina Ice Festival with Papa.


We went to see Sesame Street Live with Abby.

We started gymnastics at Little Star Gymnastics and Kayla really liked doing gymnastics there.


Kayla started dance class at Caliber Dance Company.


We went to Myrtle Beach on vacation.  This was our first vacation alone as a family.


We went to Orlando again.  We got to go to Chef Mickey's, Sea World, Hollywood Studios, and the Magic Kingdom.


We went to a Daniel Tiger meet and greet.


We went to the zoo with our neighbors.


We went back to Hancock in June.


We spent the 4th of July at a party with Abby.


We went to our first Pet's Fair in North Royalton with Kayla's best friend from school, Ana.


We went to Stearns Farm with Gigi.



We went to the Medina County Fair and Kayla would only ride the carousel over and over again. 


The next week, we went with Kayla's friend, Ana, to the Cuyahoga County Fair and Kayla went on every ride they had there and loved going on rides after that.


We bought a season pass for Cedar Point and Kayla looooved it there.


We finally got to go to Animal Adventure with Nana, Aunt Amber, and Amelia.  Kayla did a really good job feeding all of the animals... even the giraffe.


We went back to the Asian Lantern Festival this year.


We went to Hillcrest Orchards with Papa to pick apples.


We went to Mapleside Farms with our neighbors.


We went to Ramseyer Farms and had a great time with Maia.


Then we went on our weekly Cedar Point trips!  Kayla just loved it there!  First we went with Maia.


Then mommy's friend, Irma and her grandson, Carson.


Then we went to Aunt Becky, Uncle Bobby, and Abby.



Then we went to mommy's friends to Cedar Point.  Each trip, Kayla was the last one standing.  She would have rode rides all night long if she was allowed to.  She never wanted to leave the park and was FULL of smiles on every ride she went on.  She LOVED going on the rides.


We went to Trick or Treat Fest at the zoo with Nana.


Kayla adamantly wanted to be Elsa for Halloween this year.  Maia ended up being Anna.  Kayla went trick or treating at our house with her friend Ana. 


We went on our first family cruise on Royal Caribbean's Harmony of the Seas.  This was one of our best family vacations and we absolutely loved it.


Kayla got her Elf of a Shelf this year.  She LOVED it, and looked very forward to finding her every morning.  She named her elf, Elsa.


Kayla loved watching an Elf's Story all December long.  She might have watched this every day.


We went to Strongsville to see Christmas lights.

We had a Cousin's Christmas Movie Marathon night where we each picked a movie out and made food with the theme.


We went to the Magic of Lights Christmas lights in the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds.


We had breakfast with Santa at Mapleside Farms.


We spent the day with Aunt Becky and Abby in downtown Cleveland and met up with Suzie, Lucy, and Charlotte. 


We went on the Cuyahoga Scenic Railroad North Pole Adventure.


We saw Santa, Elsa and Anna at the Little Star Gymnastic Christmas party.  Kayla loved them, but didn't like the Grinch.


Christmas was very exciting this year.  Kayla was very excited to see Santa and was excited to watch for Santa.  She loved her elf on the shelf and getting things in her box every day.  She was very excited for her presents on Christmas morning.
