Opening Day of Cedar Point was on May 4th. It was cold and rainy that day but it didn't stop these two from having a blast on their favorite ride, Iron Dragon.
The next weekend was beautiful for Sam and mine's girls day trip! We buy the fast pass every year and have a great day together. Next year we are going to go later in the season so we can stay longer because our day always goes too fast.
Clearly we are Cedar Point girls! Back again... and this time with daddy and Sam. Hannah and Maia were supposed to come too, but they got sick and had to cancel.
They next week we went on our amazing Disney trip with the Delias!! We looooved getting to go with them. They were great travel companions and the girls loved getting to spend time together.
Kayla is officially our preschool graduate!
We spent 4th of July in Hancock with our family.
August 9th, we went to the Cuyahoga County Fair with her besties, Sarah, Abigail, and Ana. Kayla won her ride pass again this year going to the Guardians party.
August 13th, we went to the girls first concert... Rise of Red and Zombies. The girls loved it... they loved dancing and singing the songs. They actually knew quite a few of them. It was a little loud in their for them though and they got tired out by the end and we left slightly early. Thank you GIGI for winning us the tickets!
Kayla and Ana had fun at the North Royalton splash pad together.
Aunt Sherry and Uncle Jack had their 50th wedding anniversary party on August 16th and I think it was the first time that our whole family had been together in a VERY long time. Uncle Timmy and Raquel even made it up. Kayla and Byrlee feel in love with each other that night.
We went to Cedar Point with Brylee and Raquel the next day and we all had a blast together. The girls loved riding rides together. Brylee and I went on TT2 together and she was nervous at first but she loved it.
The next weekend we went to the waterpark and CP with Sarah.
The next day we went to Kayla's first circus. It was at the fair grounds in a tent... and it was hot in there. It wasn't like the circus that I went to when I was younger... I hope to take her to the ringling brothers and barnum & bailey circus some day!
Kayla started her first day of Kindergarten on August 27th! Her teacher is Mrs. Ziemke and she loves her class. She was VERY nervous about going on the bus the first day and cried/begged not to go on it... but she ended up going on and loved the bus after that. It did break my heart and worry about her though! I was so glad to get this picture of her later in the day.
To close out the summer we went to Chuck E Cheese and then had a sleep over with Maia.
We had a very fun summer together! I love getting to do things with my girlie! Kayla also had swim and gymnastics lessons all summer long too.
