2023 was another great year for us. We made lots of great memories and had lots of fun times together. We went on 4 family vacations; Southern California, Myrtle Beach, Oasis of the Seas cruise, and Orlando over Thanksgiving. I also accomplished 6 bucket list items including... Going on a southern california trip and going to Disneyland and the San Diego Zoo, going on a cruise that went to Coco Cay, staying in an Aqua Theater suite, attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, going on a deluxe resort Christmas decoration hopping tour, and going to Castle Noel in Medina.
Kayla turned 3 this year and had a Frozen birthday party.
Kayla joined the Extreme Gymnastics Gym with Sarah. Kayla loved Gymastics this year and wanted to practice it all the time at home.
We did monthly gift of time dates with Gigi all year.
We also did monthly gift of time dates with Papa. This was a great way to spend time with mom and dad and I'm really proud that we were able to do this all year long with them.
We went to Disneyland! Taking Kayla to Disneyland was a bucket list item for me.
We went to the San Diego Zoo. This was also a bucket list item for me. I had always wanted to check out this zoo.
We went to Legoland.
We had the best holiday seasons this year! Kayla was SO into everything. She was so excited for Easter and did such a good job in the egg hunts this year.
We went to several North East Ohio Creatives events to see the princesses this year. We attended their Valentine's Day ball, main event at the zoo, and several smaller princess meet and greets.
Uncle John turned 80 years old this year.
Krista and the kids came to our house for Uncle John's 80th birthday party, and Kayla fell in love with Davey. She decided that he is her favorite person in the whole world.
Kayla begged and begged for a swingset at out house. So Cody and my dad built her one!
Kayla became best friends with Sarah and we did lots of fun things with her family throughout the year.
We went on vacation in Myrtle Beach with the Newmans. It was such a fun experience to be there with them.
We went to Cedar Shores for the first time, and Kayla loved the water slides.
We went to Cedar Point about twice a month throughout the summer. Kayla started riding the kiddie rollercoaster this year!! She absolutely loved them and wanted to go on them all of the time. She also loved the Scrambler.
Most Tuesdays throughout the year Kayla and I went to the library for family story time. We really enjoyed this programs and thought they were well done.
We went on Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas this year! We stayed in an Aqua suite which was an incredible experience. We loved this cruise so much that we have 3 more booked for next year alone! This cruise checked off two bucket list items for me; staying in an aquasuite and getting to go to Coco Cay.
Halloweekends are so well done at Cedar Point! We LOVED it there!
Kayla was Cinderella for Halloween this year.
Chance turned 40 and had a birthday party at Ridge Runners.
Kayla signed up for basketball, but it was a bust. She did not enjoy it at all.
We got to go to Orlando at Christmas time! We got to go to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party which is something that I've wanted to do FOREVER! And we got to go on a Christmas Decoration tour of the Deluxe resorts at Disney which is another thing I've always wanted to do. Both of these were bucket list items for me that I've always wanted to do!
Christmas was so much this year! Kayla was super into our countdown to Christmas and loved her elf that visited us. Kayla loved waking up in the morning and finding her first thing.
